The Indian load birthday was celebrated on this day.

That load name is load, Krishna.

Krishna Janmashtami is celebrated by Krishna worshippers with love and joy. The puja happens around midnight as Krishna is supposed to have been born at that time. The day is marked by fasting rituals and reading or listening to the Bhagavad Gita. Temples are adorned with flowers and garlands.

Every year, people follow the practice of reading the Bhagavad Gita, keep rocking cradles with a Krishna idol in temples and at their homes. The rituals are performed at midnight. A dance performance is also hosted. Mathura is a must-visit place during Janmashtami.
Krishna Janmashtami celebrates the birth of Lord Krishna and is also known as Gokul Ashtami. Lord Krishna is considered the eighth avatar of Lord Vishnu, the preserver among the Trinity. His birth is celebrated widely as Krishna Janmashtami or Gokul Ashtami.
The Krishna Janmashtami festival marks the birth of Krishna, one of the most popular deities worshipped by Hindus. He is thought to have been born in 3228 BC. His birthday is celebrated eight days after Raksha Bandhan, a festival celebrating the bond between brothers and sisters.
The puja time is between 11:59 pm on August 30 to 12:44 am on August 31. According to drikpanchang, devotees should have only a single meal a day before Janmashtami.

One primary purpose of celebrating Dahi Handi is to commemorate the sweet endearing deeds of Lord Krishna. This is an enactment of Lord Krishna and his team. Lord Krishna was quite spirited and naughty as a child. Krishna was a very great fan of 'Makkhan' and 'dahi' and all other dairy food items.
Janmashtami is celebrated on the Ashtami of Krishna Paksha (Moon's setting phase) or the 8th day of the dark fortnight in the month of Bhadrapada. This usually falls in August or September. This year, Janmashtami will be celebrated on August 30.
Over the years, Dahi Handi has become a ritual of Krishna Janmashtami. The ritual imitates Krishna's childhood days. The group of boys is called mandalas and they go around different localities to break the handi. Often there is also a price to break the pot and has become a fun way to celebrate the festival.             
One pyramid can have as many as nine layers. The lower tiers have sturdy people who can bear the weight on their shoulders, and the top one has an energetic child who can catch and break the handi. The people who form the pyramid are called 'Govinda Pathak' or 'Govinda'.

Death of Shri Krishna:-
According to the Mahabharata, a fight breaks out at a festival among the Yadavas, who end up killing each other. Mistaking the sleeping Krishna for a deer, a hunter named Jara shoots an arrow that fatally injures him. Krishna forgives Jara and dies.
Lord Krishna lived for 125 years.
Shri Krishna's Sons:-
Pradyumna was born in Dvaraka. He was incarnate of the demigod Kamadeva. He had been burnt to ashes formerly by the anger of Lord Shiva. According to the Bhagavata Purana, within 10 days of Pradyumna's birth, he was abducted by the demon Shambala.
According to the Surya Siddhanta, Kali Yuga began at midnight (00:00) on 18 February 3102 BCE. This is also considered the date on which Krishna left the earth to return to Vaikuntha. ... The actual date for this alignment is 7 February 3104 BCE.
